November 21, 2022

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Sunday, November 20, 2022 we celebrated the Feast of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe. “Let us give thanks to the Father, who has made you fit to share in the inheritance of the holy ones in light…He is the head of the body, the church.” (Colossians 1:12-18)

Jesus is the King of the Universe, yet he humbled himself and became man. In doing so, he made us his brothers and sisters and worthy to receive the inheritance of God, the Father – a place in heaven.

Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!

Ms. Danielle Gonzalez, Principal

A student must score in the 95th percentile in order to first be considered for the Kaleidoscope Program (Gifted and Talented Program). At this time of the school year, we would be checking May scores to see if the student is eligible for next school year.

Through a grant received by the school and the foresight and planning of Principal Zito, we are able to purchase new Interactive Smartboards for every classroom!

Any student who was absent from school or leaves school early due to illness, is not allowed to participate in after school clubs or sports that day.

It is very tempting to travel during the off-season when prices are lower.  Although we understand the financial crunch of the times and the need for family time, family vacations should not be planned while school is in session.  Should a family make the choice to travel during school time, please be aware that teachers are under no obligation to provide plans or assignments ahead of time. Nor are they expected to spend class or personal time trying to catch the student up upon their return. Thank you for your cooperation

Several pick up areas for dismissal call for parents to park on the streets of residential areas.  Please obey all traffic laws and do not park in front of private driveways, fire hydrants, in fire zones, etc.  The Clifton Police will come during dismissal unannounced.  Picking up a student from school will not excuse anyone from receiving a traffic violation or parking ticket.

Keeping the safety of everyone in mind, especially the students, we continue to ask for your vigilance and patience.
