Weekly Parent Letter June 3, 2024

June 3, 2024

Dear Parents and Guardians,

“While they were eating, he took bread, said the blessing, broke it, gave it to them and said, ‘Take it; this is my body.”  (Mark 14:22)

Have you ever been a little late for a meal and noticed your body gives you signs it’s time to start eating – a grumbling tummy, a headache, or maybe even your body starts shaking?  The body will do the same if we go too long without Jesus in our life or without receiving Him, the Eucharist, as Mass.  The signs are different, but they are there – the feeling of despair creeps in, the sense that something is missing, or a lack of peace and an increase of worry in the mind.

Pay attention to the signs.  Is it time to eat? Be sure to feed yourself in body and soul.

* The last three half days of school, students will be allowed to dress down.  We encourage parents to donate new, or gently used, uniforms to the Uniform Exchange Program.  Uniforms brought to school must be washed first.  Stained or torn uniforms will not be accepted.  Thank you.
